A brass and copper planter attributed to Gustav Serrurier Bovy. Hammered copper with brass sigil detail to front and sides set over a detailed brass and copper frame.

Date: Circa 1900

Gustav Serrurier-Bovy (1858-1910) was a Belgian architect and designer who is partly credited with creating the Art Nouveau style. Several pieces of his furniture are on display in the Art Nouveau section at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
